Poster of FDR's Four Freedom Speech. The idea of freedom was very important to Franklin Roosevelt. He gave a speech highlighting the types of freedom that he believed people should have. One of these four freedoms was freedom form want. Although it was not directly states, this includes freedom from want of food. This point is inferred in the fact that much of FDR's political policy was focused on food supply.
