Title
Plant a Victory Garden
Subject
Victory Garden Poster
Description
This poster portrays a family tending a victory garden. This propaganda poster was used to encourage the World war II home front population to grow victory gardens. The poster proudly proclaims the words " Plant a victory garden", "Our food is fighting", "A garden will make your rations go further". Propaganda posters demonstrate one of the ways that Franklin Roosevelt's administration relentlessly promoted growing a victory garden to the home front population.
